Policy Brief: Youth co-production reveals potential gaps in AI safety frameworks

As part of the SHIFT-AI project, we collaborated with the NeurOx Young People's Advisory Group to create policy recommendations for safer generative AI use in young people. Specifically, we recommend that policymakers (1) incentivise meaningful youth co-production in AI development, and (2) limit anthropomorphic and addictive design features in youth-facing systems.
